Gallow  Players lose in National Fours Quarter-Finals

  

In the England National Fours Championships at Nottingham, Sam King, Neil Moulton, Paul Shackcloth and Richard Mason won the first round 33 shots to 1, and the second round 22 shots to 7, but could not maintain that form in the quarter finals and lost 11 shots to 21.

 

Playing in the Norfolk Ladies County semi-finals at Norfolk Bowling Club, Cheryl Lincoln won through to the County Singles Final winning 21 shots to 18.  She now plays Coral Baker of Diss in the final.

 

Ann Leverett and Berverley Masters reached the final of the Ladies County Pairs and now play Jane Roylance and Christine Webb from North Walsham in the final.

 

Pam Frary, Sheila Cox, Coralie Bell and Louise Hannant lost in the fours and Linda Ward, Suzanne King and Maureen Emment lost in the Triples.

 

Playing at home in the final Premier League fixture this season against County Arts Mens A Team, Gallow finished with a 6 points to 1 win, 91 shots to 60, and finish in fourth place in the league.

J. Piercy, T. Beck, M. Riches and M. King won 33 shots to 8. 

D. Taney, K. Humphrey, M. Wilkinson and R. Mason won 29 shots to 15. 

S. King, J. Wright, A. Walton and P. Shackcloth won 18 shots to 15. 

V. Smith, D. Hood, M. Starkey and V. Hudson lost 11 shots to 22.
